At Cheverell we fully acknowledge the environmental responsibility of working with wood and that's why we pay close attention when it comes to sourcing our materials.
By ensuring that all the timber and sheet material companies that supply us comply with FSC* certification, our customers can be assured that all the hardwood we use is high-grade material from properly managed sources - achieving both quality and sustainability.
Our environmental awareness extends throughout our manufacturing operation. All the left over materials are hand sorted in the workshops enabling them to be collected and recycled for a variety of uses. All the sawdust is taken to farms in the area for use as chicken and animal bedding, which is finally turned into compost.
